This is a poster we designed for the exhibit displaying the design for the interface of the social networking application that will be on each of the screens in the cafe.

SUMMARY This is a team project sponsored by Xerox. The theme was "The Future Workplace of 2020". Our solution to this challenge was the PXLB Cafe which is a collaborative space for freelance designers to build connections and professional relationships with other workers and companies. It has many innovative features an technologies to provide members with a personalized and efficient work environment.

SUMMARY This ipad applicaton is designed to address the needs of young children in the backseat of the car. It's goal is to entertain and provide comfort to children that are not easily accessable to there parents. Using this application will allow the user to see the view infront of the car using real-time video, similar to the view out of the windshield, which isn't easily seen in the backseat. They will also be able to control the radio station or the song that is playing and the temperature settings. There is also an iSpy game that uses the touch screen capabilities of the ipad to spot and select various items from the video of the road. Lastly, there is an alert system where requests for food and rest stops can be sent to the front seat.

SUMMARY This is a static advertisment for a television show using Cinema 4D. This was a personal challenge to model a face in Cinema 4D by using only a sphere and adjusting the points of the polygon. I redered out an image, then used that image as a texture for the photograph, Then bringing back in the face I brought the native to life as he emerges from the photograph portraying the idea of interaction and engagment for the television show.

SUMMARY For this project I created a website to compliment the television show Pixel TV. This website allows fans of the show to not only easily access episodes, but also to view extracted featured work from the episodes, view related articles, and participate in discussions relating to the content of pixel TV. In addition to these features this website provides a unique experience by allowing viewrs to interact and participate in the show by submitting and voting on work for future display on the show.

SUMMARY This was created to be an introduction for an adventure sports competition. I wanted to create a piece with a simple and abstract style. I experimented with various features in Cinema 4D like particle systems , animating displacement deformers, and animating using cloth attributes. This project expanded my knowledge of the program and its features.

SUMMARY I worked on this project along-side 2 other talented students, Nicole Formica and Ryan Dixon. The assignment was to create a product with the theme "the future of retail". Our concept was to create a futuristic, advanced movie rental system. We designed a vault with a gesture navigation system inside. Movies can be easily previewed on a life size scale. The vault also syncs to the users phone to save user preferences and queues. It also establishes a friends list using contacts in the users phone to help users chose a movie their friends will enjoy too. The final feature of the vault is the elimination of traditional dvd movies. The movies are sent to the users phone for a limited life span of viewing. This allows users to download the movie to their computer for viewing.
To complete this project we went through many brainstorming sessions and process documents. As a team we began the initial design concepts with mood boards, sketches, wireframes, and comps. Once we had a clear style established pages organized we separated task between members. My team mates diligently completed finalized designs of all the pages while I began modeling and programming the main navigation system. I also modeled and animated the vault introduction. Once all of the assets were completed we came back together as a team and animated them all together to create a final prototype.

SUMMARY This was an experiment with simple character animation. The goal was to give an inanimate object a personality and emotions. I chose to portray a bottle opener. I wanted to illustrate its desire and struggle. I used bone structures and joints to animate the character and mograph to duplicate it for dramatic effect.

SUMMARY This was created for a optional challenge presented to us by Firstborn to create an image using only Cinema 4D to represent a word from a selected list. We were restricted to only using primative shapes, textures and lighting to create the image. I chose the word natural. In order to create this image I used only a few capsul shapes placed in the provided room. I then manipulated the shapes using displacment maps and deformers. In order to create an interesting and engaging mood I used a variety of lighting effects and textures.

SUMMARY This project is a scene of a young boy who is about 5 years old and full of energy. At the time this scene is taking place he has been running around playing in his make-believe world. He has a tie, a cape, a miners hat and a variety of other accessaries on as he jumps on his bed imagining he is somewhere else. Meanwhile, a shy fuzy mythical creature is hiding right below his feet. The focus of this project is to create professional quality, 3D modeled characters with emphasis on texturing and character development.
